I was talking to some guy in a game and he has a lot of very good rare gold weapons... he was level 20 and he found them in a secret place soloing.. anyways obviously that place isnt a secret but im just wondering what palce it is.. my ele/mes couldnt kill jackshit on its own.. he was a warrior/monk so maybe thats how he solo'd

Rare weapons are not very rare when you get further along in the game...

Some people say "soloing" when they only bring NPC henchmen, rather than real players.

A W/Mo is pretty good for doing real solo, but an E/Me should be too bad, due to the AoE and high damage spells. But bringing a healer and two tanks hench will probably be a lot more efficient, even if you only get a fourth of the drops.

Also instead of "soloing" take friends with you and share drops. With NPCs the items drop less.

You can solo Riverside Province without henchmen or other players, that's kinda fun in itself but it also gives good drops

Wa/Mo obviously works ok for this, so does a Zealot's Fire Mo/X but other classes might aswell.

When people are having a discussion where the Secondary (or Primary) profession isn't relevant (can be any), then often the abbreviation for this is stated as (Primary, ignoring Secondary) Mo/*, Mo/, Mo/x, etc. or the reverse (Secondary, ignoring Primary) */Mo, etc.

"Thirsty River" cleaning up the giants and devouvers(sp?) - Zone out again instead of talking to the Hero.

Mostly hammers, shields and bows tho.

my godamn elementalist mesmer cant kill anything!! i tried outside beattleton.. the damn mergoyles cast shattered something forget the name that whenever i cast a spell i loose enegry.. everywhere i go i die.. and i alwys got my enchancements on
